• TRIBUTARIES: Isaiah 11:1; “Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a branchfrom his roots will bear fruit.”;
  Isaiah 11:10; “Then in that day The nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples; And His resting place will be glorious.”;
           Jeremiah 23:5; “‘Behold, the days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.’”;
           Notice: The Messiah is described as both “a branch” from Jesse and “the root” of Jesse
