The direction and the attitude modeled in the disciple-maker go a long way toward making sure real multiplication takes place.

There are some goals to keep in mind that keep the focus upon growing in Christ.

There are some objective study guides/resources that possess the advantage of keeping the right amount of content and application. The main tools that carry the discipleship forward are the Bible and you.

The commitment is carried out in regular one-on-one appointments or encounters.

The context of disciple-making is the mutual commitment between the teacher  and the learner to be accountable each other in their growth in Christ.

The Scriptural basis includes Paul's instructions to Timothy and his motivations toward the Thessalonians. 2Timothy 2:1-2; 1Thessalonians 2:8, 20; 3:8

The Scriptural basis for making disciples is found first in the Great Commission.  Matthew 28:18-20
